Supervisor Manpower & Facility Scheduling

This position entails supervision and scheduling of media facilities and manpower. The supervisor supports various BO&E departments and ABC TV Network clients. This is a deadline driven and fast paced production environment. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to technical and management personnel. The ideal applicant is a self starter, motivated and capable of organizing, prioritizing and multitasking. Ability to work independently. Must have pragmatic decision making abilities.

Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for daily supervision and scheduling of media facilities for Network Programming and client services. Candidate will process, verify, code, approve and submit timesheets. Candidate required to use company scheduling system, SAP and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to communicate with technical, management personnel and clients. Candidate will assist Managers with day-to-day operations. This position includes working “non-traditional” hours (evenings, overnights, and weekends); consistent attendance is essential. Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 rotating shift operation.

Basic Qualifications
- Over 3 years technical experience in a professional TV, radio or media production environment. - Technical Skills: Background knowledge of broadcast operations and facilities. Familiar with multiple tape formats, specifically D-5, IMX and Digibeta. Ability to comprehend video waveform monitor, vectorscope and audio metering. Computer literate. - Non-technical Skills: Candidate must have the ability to perform independently or as part of a goal-oriented team. Excellent interpersonal and professional skills with client interaction required. Must be organized, detail oriented and possess excellent oral and written communications skills. Must have pragmatic decision making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
Scheduling of facilities and manpower experience a plus.

College Degree
