MBA Intern Brand Management Disney Channels Summer 2012

The Disney ABC Television Group (DATG) is home to all of The Walt Disney Company's worldwide entertainment and news television properties. The Group includes the ABC Television Network (including ABC Daytime, ABC Entertainment Group and ABC News divisions); the Disney Channels Worldwide global kids’ TV business, ABC Family and SOAPnet; as well as television distribution divisions Disney ABC Domestic Television and Disney ABC ESPN Television. The Disney ABC Television Group also manages the Radio Disney Network, general interest and non-fiction book imprint Hyperion, as well the Company’s equity interest in A&E Television Networks.

Responsibilities
Support Executive Director of Franchise Management and Franchise Management team with developing, analyzing and communicating integrated franchise plans. Job responsibilities include many different projects throughout the year such as assisting with business research and analysis for selected projects relating to the strategic development of the Franchise Management group, supporting the ongoing development of franchise strategies for key Disney Junior series. Create, modify and adapt franchise presentation documents in Keynote and PowerPoint for various audiences and uses as defined by the Franchise and Brand Management teams. Create focused documentation from a variety of sources (e.g. collate franchise performance data into clear and concise documentation for further discussion).

Basic Qualifications
All students must be eligible to work in the US All students must be pursuing a MBA degree and currently enrolled at an accredited business school All students must be available to work 40 hours/week (5 full 8 hour days) throughout the summer session All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship All students must be proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Must be able to provide own housing/transportation throughout the duration of the internship. Skills and experience with Macs and Keynote to create manipulate and modify presentation materials for a variety of audiences (from non-flashy to high-gloss). Ability to craft concise recommendations based on thorough business and market analysis. Ability to collaborate across multiple business units and cross-functional areas, managing and collating input from multiple points of view and business interests. Excellent organization and communication skills, both oral and written. Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
Students currently in their 2nd year Previous internship/work experience within the entertainment industry
