Executive Director Product Strategy

The Executive Director, Product Strategy is responsible for providing product strategy direction for the DATG Digital Media portfolio, which includes ABC Entertainment and Daytime, ABC News, ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior. Based in Burbank, this role identifies and delivers strategic framework for future opportunities as it relates to digital platforms, and participating in the execution of those ideas.

Responsibilities
Identifies forward-looking consumer insights translates into actionable input to digital Product teams. Uses research to create analysis and modeling based on market dynamics, competitive landscape and financial ROI. Outlines key market trends in the digital landscape, recommends new areas of growth. Stays ahead of the curve on emerging technologies impacting digital business and creates criteria for selection on key areas to prioritize to fully optimize multiplatform audience development. Sets the table for multiplatform discussions across business functions and clearly communicates where digital is heading and how to unlock value. Develops high level approach on social media strategy, integrates business drivers from Marketing, Product, Distribution and Technology perspectives. Creates recommendations for increasing revenue strategies from existing products (e.g. explore product data to pinpoint opportunities to increase consumption). Drives business planning for new initiatives and innovation and helps integrate new business areas. Supervises Product Strategy managers to deliver deeper level of integration with product teams as well as maximize value of work across portfolio.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of related experience in a combination of digital, product strategy and marketing Demonstrated interest and experience with major media business

Preferred Education
MBA

Required Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of work experience
