Coordinator Programming
The Coordinator, Programming will be responsible for supporting the Program Planning team in the creation of programming stunts and initiatives. The Coordinator will also be responsible for working on cross-departmental Disney XD initiatives with the General Manager, and will be responsible for supporting the GM on channel initiatives. The Coordinator will also be responsible for creating presentations based on programming strategies and other initiatives for upper management.
Responsibilities
Work with General Manager on cross-departmental initiatives, maintaining communication flow, work item follow-up, and presenting initiatives to senior management. Work with key departments and third parties to support key priorities, including taking notes at meetings. Assemble presentations utilizing a broad array of content types to effectively communicate initiatives. Work with Program Planning to support team in creating programming stunts Manage series roll-outs and fiscal year event calendar distribution Primary back up to Program Planning Coordinator for Disney XD General administrative support for Program Planning, including taking notes at meetings Contribute to department’s weekly competitive report Represent Program Planning in On-Air Promotions meetings
Basic Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a similar role Knowledge of basic business computer programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote presentation software. Knowledge of MAC, Garage Band, iTunes, imovie, basic music and video editing. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in programming Entertainment industry experience a plus
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of equivalent work experience
