Project Engineer
Plan and manage physical plant construction phases of engineering projects for on-air broadcast. Interact with vendors, operations groups, and other departments.
Responsibilities
Individual is responsible for the management and implementation of physical plant infrastructure for audio, video, data, and communication elements for new and existing facilities. Oversee construction crews.
Basic Qualifications
5-7 years work experience. Requires ability to interpret construction documents. Experience supervising construction crews necessary. Must be familiar with coordinating construction disciplines. Must be a team player. Working knowledge of AutoCad, Microsoft Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Construction Project Management experience. CAD skills. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Expert knowledge of construction and NYC building standards.
Preferred Qualifications
7-10 years work experience. Experience supporting a 24x7 mission critical media operations center or IT data centers. Strong field experience working with electrical/HVAC systems a plus. Ideal candidate would have prior hands on experience in a construction trade.
Preferred Education
Professional Engineers License
Required Education
Bachelors in Engineering or Architecture
